Premier Rings Up PhoneSuite
Scott Perry has a tough job. As regional director of operations for Farmington, MO-based Premier Management, Inc., he oversees all 10 properties in the company's portfolio. The roster includes four Candlewood Suites, one independent and one each of five other brands.
He's always looking for products, systems and techniques to improve operating efficiencies and streamline work routines for hotel employees. That's one reason why he and Premier chose phone systems from PhoneSuite for three of its properties: a Candlewood Suites, a MainStay Suites and a recently opened Hampton Inn in Farmington. All three properties have the same basic system, but the newer Hampton has a few software upgrades.
“These systems are the most economical we've been able to find for our properties,” says Perry, whose career in the hotel industry includes serving as GM for a number of properties. In 2006, he was the TownePlace Suites manager of the year.
PhoneSuites offers an array of phone systems for mid-size hotel properties. Features of the U.S.-made products include seamless PMS integration, easy-to-use operator consoles and an energy-efficient, ultra-low-power operating unit.
Perry also likes the service and follow-up PhoneSuite has provided. “I appreciate the company because it follows through until it knows for sure your issues are resolved,” he says.
Perry says Premier will be involved in the development of two or three more properties in the next year and he will definitely look to PhoneSuite for telecommunications systems.
