Accor May Split Hotels From Rest of Business

Board moves up timeline, expects to make decision by the end of the year.
French hotels and services group Accor SA (AC.FR) Monday said its board will take a decision on the project to separate its hotels and services businesses by the end of the year. In a statement, the group said its board met Monday to weigh the potential benefits of demerging Accor's two businesses and will meet again before the end of the year to make a decision, after having conducted a more detailed analysis of the project.
