Today is a big day in the hotel industry. The Waikiki Edition, the first partnership between famed high-end hotelier Ian Schrager and Marriot Hotels opens today on Waikiki beach. Ian Schrager, famous for the Mondrian, Delano, Royalton and Gramercy Park Hotels, among others, has branched out into a brand of "lifestyle hotels" called EDITION. Click here for the full story.
