Chicago hotelier Laurence Geller is moving in on the shuttered Lakeshore Athletic Club.
Mr. Geller's company, Strategic Hotels & Resorts Inc., has acquired a defaulted $21.5 million loan on the East Loop gym, which sits next door to the 687-room Fairmont Chicago, one of Strategic's two downtown hotels. Click here for the full story.
