Choice Hotels Reports Flat Earnings

Company Signed 56 Franchise Contracts in Q1
Silver Spring-based Choice Hotels International Inc. reported flat earnings in the first quarter, but both franchise and total revenue rose. The company had net income of $15.7 million, or 26 cents per share, compared with net income of $15.8 million, or 26 cents per share, in last year's first quarter.
