CNL Says Filing Protects Area’s Reputation
A New Hampshire lawmaker is proposing a resolution to declare the state's opposition to a company's effort to trademark the name Mount Washington. Florida-based CNL Lifestyle Properties, which owns the Mount Washington Hotel and Resort in Bretton Woods, has applied to trademark the name for lodging purposes, saying it wants to ensure the historic brand and name of the 108-year-old resort is protected.
