Greenbrier Lays Off 100 Workers

Most May Be Rehired in April
The Greenbrier resort laid off more than 100 employees Friday in an effort to dig the resort out of a $13 million deficit caused by a slow winter season. About 100 salaried employees and a "fluctuated number of hourly employees" were temporarily laid off, owner Jim Justice said Friday. He did not specify how many hourly employees are affected.
