The Greenbrier is selling off pieces of its storied history to the highest bidder. The resort plans to hold a public auction May 21 at the State Fair Event Center in Fairlea. Items for sale include 1960s-era blue-vinyl steel cafeteria chairs once housed in The Greenbrier "bunker," the former top-secret relocation facility for Congress during the Cold War.
