Hammons Company Drops Plans to Finish Colorado Springs Hotel
John Q. Hammons Hotels and Resorts won’t complete a 300-room Colorado Springs hotel that the company was close to finishing but which now will be auctioned in October.The Renaissance hotel will be auctioned in a foreclosure sale on Oct. 20 to satisfy a $24.6 million mechanic’s lien filed by the general contractor, Flintco Inc., of Tulsa, Okla.
