Protests Against Hyatt Slated in Nine Other Cities
Union workers at the Park Hyatt have planned a one-day strike at the downtown hotel Thursday, the latest protest in a long-running labor contract dispute with Hyatt Hotels Corp. Unite Here Local 1, which represents about 170 workers at the hotel at 800 N. Michigan Ave., has yet to agree on a new labor contract with the Chicago-based hotel company.
