Rebranding Efforts Help IHG to Solid First-Quarter Results
InterContinental Hotels Group PLC reported solid first-quarter results that were in line with our expectations. Revenue increased 9% (6% on a constant currency basis) to $396 million. Sales were driven by solid first-quarter global revPAR growth of 6.9%, with revPAR growth particularly strong in the U.S. (up 8.4%) and China (up 18.8%).
