Seven-Month-Old Hotel Isnt Performing, Suit Claims
The owners of the Waikiki Edition one of Honolulu's flashiest new boutique hotels have sued Marriott International and famed hotelier Ian Schrager, claiming both reneged on their promise to make the new hotel brand successful. The suit, filed in New York Supreme Court names Schrager because he is Marriott's partner on the Edition hotel brand. Yet, Schrager, considered the father of boutique hotels, has been largely absent, the owners of the Waikiki Edition contend. Click here for the full story.
