Marriott Time-Share Stock to Make Debut
Marriott International's spinoff of its Orlando-based time-share division becomes official November 22, with the distribution of the new company's shares to existing Marriott shareholders.

The spinoff was announced in February, but the renamed Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp. will now operate for the first time as a corporate entity separate from Marriott International. Eligible shareholders of Marriott International get one share of Marriott Vacations Worldwide common stock for every 10 shares of Marriott International Class A common stock they hold. The time-share company's stock will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol VAC, with regular trading expected to begin Tuesday. Click here for the full story.
