Sales of [Chicago area] hotels jumped in 2011, but the market has lost some of its oomph since the summer. Nineteen hotels have changed hands this year for a combined $705.5 million, up 83% from $386.0 million in 2010, when six hotels traded, according to Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, a unit of Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.
