South Carolina Hotel Lobbyist Mission Four Days
The mystery of a missing, high-profile lobbyist entered its fourth day Tuesday as concern over his well-being grew throughout the state. Columbia police clamped down on information about their search for Tom Sponseller, president of the S.C. Hospitality Association, who disappeared Saturday afternoon. Sponseller has been listed as a missing person, and police are considering all possibilities as to his whereabouts, said Jennifer Timmons, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman.
