Hotels a Focus at Digital Signage Expo
The Digital Signage Expo returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center March 6-8 with more than 180 exhibitors, 100 educators and 32 seminars expected, including two focusing entirely on the hotel industry.
Fresh off winning a slot on Forbes Top 20 list of “America’s Most Promising Companies,” Four Winds Interactive President and CEO David Levin will lead a discussion group apropos for the host city: “The Evolution of Digital Communications Management for Hotels & Casinos.” Levin, whose solutions team has direct experience at prominent properties on The Strip including, the Flamingo the Cosmopolitan and CityCenter, will cover the evolution of the digital signage industry from a singular application focus to an all-encompassing digital communications management focus.
Jay Martin, the director of U.S. sales for X2O Media, will present a panel titled “Implementing a Winning Digital Signage Strategy for Hotels.” It will offer attendees proven strategies for the effective deployment of digital signage networks in the hospitality sector. A winning strategy begins with selecting a solution that integrates with existing hotel systems to lower operation costs, provides top-quality content to support and enhance the hotel’s brand, and can be easily enhanced with functionality such as wayfinding. Going beyond system selection, Martin will present attendees with useful tips and techniques for developing a well thought-out content strategy to stimulate customer loyalty.
This year’s keynote panel — “Digital Signage: Eyes on the Future” — will feature prominent industry leaders from digital signage innovators Intel, Corning, Cisco and Sprint. The presentation is 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8. The four thought leaders will share their vision of the underlying technologies and driving forces that are shaping the future of the digital signage industry.
“DSE is proud to present a panel discussion that will provide a thought-provoking framework for now and future discussion on the challenges and opportunities that will present themselves as the industry evolves,” says Richard Lebovitz, the educational director for Exponation, the company producing the event.
Launched in 2004, DSE is the largest and longest running conference and trade show dedicated to digital signage. More than 3,500 people attended the event last year. For information or to register, check out www.digitalsignageexpo.net.
